We are so focused to see results in a materialistic form and we cannot accept that not everything has a physical form or is created in a chemical reaction. We have many chemical elements that create this life around us and everything has a reaction in some shape or form. We cannot control our body when feels butterflies and gets hot apparently for no reason. We leave ourselves inspired by the nature around us and we perceive it as rebirth and transformation of all the living things. Nature is capable of incredible transformations and can grow life on bare rocks or after melted lava covered the land. Humans have also more power that can understand, and our miracles come from our thoughts. The thoughts are like clouds that come and go, like a river that sometimes flows clear and peaceful and other times is too angry to be managed and controlled. What creates miracles is our way of handling our thoughts, and like a lion tamer, we learn to handle them with care and responsibility. We are taught to use the five senses to perceive this world, when in fact we can add a couple more even though in the beginning is hard to understand the way they are working. Spending some time in solitude and turning our focus to ourselves we discover that miracles are made by us. When we are capable to accept what we can feel in our hearts and that love doesn’t fit in our little hearts, we start being open to a new approach. We learn that thoughts are just clouds that don’t gather for more than a storm or a heavy wiping period, and once are getting clear and accepted in our mind, we start to live in peace. Is not a pill to take, a chemical formula we get to balance, nor a method for success when everything aligns and the dreams just get fulfilled. Miracles cannot be explained or demonstrated but felt with our being and once discovered we live like our life depends on them.
“What is it with science these days? Everyone is so quick to believe in it, in all these new scientific discoveries, new pills for this, new pills for that. Get thinner, grow hair, yada, yada, yada, but when it requires a little faith in something you all go crazy.’ He shook his head, ‘If miracles had chemical equations then everyone would believe.”
― Cecelia Ahern
We are looking in the skies for unidentified flying objects, or we pray for our God to make miracles, but we forget that we are not going to find answers anywhere other than ourselves. God already did his job, and nature is proof that everything works like a sophisticated mechanism that knows exactly when to turn and when to hit the gong. We have miracles around us and from the moment we open our eyes in this world until we close them, everything is magic. The experience and the chance we get in this life on Earth are misunderstood, we get disappointed in the choice and we feel ungrateful when we don’t meet expectations. Every breath we take and every tear we let fall are screaming life, and life itself is the greatest miracle we can perceive. To give life to a little human or an animal, to see growing a strong tree from a mustard seed, and to be able to experience all of these are beyond our level of gratitude we should feel. We are challenged just to get a chance to experience all the feelings we can have. We are brought back on the starting point not to be punished, but to have a new chance to apply our knowledge and wisdom. We are experiencing love and loss, lust and desire and we are left with free will and the ability of choice, to make this experience even more wanted. We look for miracles when in fact we are the only one and we should be grateful for this chance.
“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child—our own two eyes. All is a miracle.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh
We are looking for miracles and we don’t realize that we might be one in someone’s else life. We want to receive and to see it in front of our eyes, but it happens to just feel it in our heart without ever materializing in a physical form. We meet people that are able to stir our own world just by being present, listening to our thoughts, and living with us the dream we have with them. It takes a moment to be kind and make someone smile, a moment that is imprinted in our soul and we will carry with us forever. When we feel it in our heart we don’t need proof, because we know that was a sign bigger than our expectations. We are not even aware that we can change someone’s life because in our selves are gathered tight and stay together all the good feelings that glow and grows. Inside of us is shining bring the enlightenment that someone could spark from us. We only see on the outside a beautiful smile and shining eyes looking with curiosity around, searching for someone that feels familiar. The touch of someone like this can grow our wings of freedom. We don’t understand that what is really growing in us is our own strength and motivation. Some people can bring up in us the best version we ever knew, others, unfortunately, the reverse. Once we acknowledged and we’ve seen the magic is so hard to forget the feelings. We are longing for that experience and we get lost in our searching for something similar. We cannot replace it with anything and anyone, because the miracles are made from bonding souls, from our tangled energy, and from our gathered thoughts, which meant anything but love in the purest and sincere state.
“You do not understand what you have done to me. The sky inside me gets a little more colorful, every time I see you. A little more feather gets added to my weak wings, every time you touch me. It is hard for me to let you go now after seeing how beautiful the sky inside me can get and how strong my wings can become when you are around me.”
